My parents walked the aisle in answer to the altar call to give their heart to Christ at Christian Center in Salem, OR in 1974 after we had watched A Thief in the Night (I was five. I can't believe they let me watch it! 😮) I can still remember them walking the aisle. It was the first time either of my parents had ever set foot in a church. I'm eternally grateful for this movie, the bold couple who invited my parents to church, and this moving song.
